This is the Android application for, the device, MarVAJED goniometer that measures angle between joints using both accelometer and gyroscope with better precision than any other device available on the market.
The device and the application is consisted of; 1- corsets that support the position of the joint of patients, 2- electronically goniometer inserted in the corset which measures angles of the joint excursion 3- Android application that goniometer connected via Bluetooth
Application displays measurements received from the device records them to corresponding database tables. There are three types of measurements
1 - Goniometer: Measurement screen displays angle and visual animation that corresponds to angle value. Also displays maximum, minimum and difference values of the session.
2- Proprioception: Before the measurement angle value is displayed in the screen after test button is clicked, measurement display is invisible to test patients ability to perform same position of joints to test the patient's process.
3- Activity: This is a frequency and time based measurement. Set a timer and measurment frequency. Maximum number of measurment depends on your device, what we get from an avarage device is about 700 measurements per minute. After the time is zero or session is ended manually it displays the graphical representation of the session.
All values gathered during these measurements are recordable to database and convertable to MS Excel format, to help you keep your process as a soft or hard copy.
Also, there are games to make it easier and fun for children to exercise.
